Anna Kapranchuk

I am a performance and visual artist based in London, working at the intersection of visual art, performance, and narrative. My artistic practice focuses on the body as a vessel of memory, sensation, and lived experience. I’m drawn to themes of vulnerability both physical and emotional, as well as states of transformation, fragmentation, and recovery. I'm interested in imagery where the visible intersects with the intangible, where the body becomes more then a form but a carrier of internal processes and sensations. Gesture, rhythm, and spontaneity play a vital role in my process, as does the interaction between image, space and sound.
